*Drive By Shot means shooting while in a moving conveyance - trains, planes, car WHEELCHAIRS. In my case the target isnt ID ed until I run across it. The subject finds me. My camera catches it but doesn't reveal its full life. In the still of contemplating the images later, I find meaning. Stories wait to be nourished, a person watching in the shadow, a pipe from nowhere, writing on the wall, cords wires, and lurkings. There’s mystery in the motion as you pass on by. An enigma that conveys the creative conscious. An extension of the traveling thought is invited to a story and it’s image.
A concept is born. It moves from an unexpected narrative even if the visual is only abstract. Abstract Expressionism says, "If it looks like something, paint it out. This means avoid the expected, the cliched, the derivative.
